MIXED MEDIA COLLAGE ON MUSEUM BOARD / UNFRAMED
Here I filled the canvas with pieces to create depth. The lighter pieces are forefront moving into the green middle area all the way through to the moon in the upper left sky in the distance.
The act of collage is taking disparate elements from various sources to create a new unified image.
All of the work here is analog collage meaning it contains clippings from magazines cut out and assembled by hand.
All of the pieces are original and are the culmination of hours of sourcing materials, curating images, cutting, sorting then arranging them and finally adhering them to the museum board.
